The founders of Sanli Pastore & Hill have recently partnered with Deeleef Resources Ltd, a consultancy and advisory firm located based in Lagos, Nigeria. Directors of Deepleef Resources Ltd include Genco Sanli and Adenike Tinubu, Genco Sanli being brother to Founder of Sanli Pastore & Hill, Nevin Sanli.
Prior to moving to Lagos, Nigeria Genco Sanli worked 27 years in investment banking and wealth management divisions of first-tier banks such as JP Morgan, Credit Suisse, Citibank as well as specialty players such as AIG Financial Products, Fortis Banque Privée and KBL European Private Bankers. He also served as Finance Director of a major Nigerian company in the logistics services industry from September 2016 and holds a MA in Political Science from Université Libre de Bruxelles and a MSc. in Management Studies from Boston University.
Lagos, Nigeria is rapidly urbanizing and expanding and is not showing signs of slowing down anytime soon. According to Ontario Tech University, a prediction of the population in 2050 is estimated to be 32,629,709 1, that is over 10 million more people than this year’s count. “Lagos is the center of economic growth within not just Nigeria, but also West Africa; [Lagos] generates 26.2% of Nigeria's GDP.”2 Nigeria is making massive steps “forward in manufacturing and technological developments, and boasts huge natural resources, including gas.”3 Due to the increasing growth in the country, we can only expect the under developed resources to progress over time.
